NCA CASE 06-024311 / GWENT POLICE
A man's body was recovered from the Severn Estuary at Redwick on February 26th 1977. Estimated to be between 20 and 50 years of age, he was white, of thin build , and stood 6' (183cm) tall.
The man had black receding hair and was dressed in light coloured socks, blue jeans with a 30" waistband and two stud fastenings at the front, and a pair of size 9 slip-on black shoes by Blvd (UK brand). A handmade light grey v-neck sweater was found 10 yards away from the body.
About his person the man had a brown leather wallet marked 'Made in England' and containing English banknotes. In addition he had a pair of scissors, a dominion lock, a yale mortice key marked 'C20' and another yale willen 160 key.
