Clear sky. A husband and wife were at home in Bridgend and saw, from indoors, and from their doorstep, two spherical objects travelling from the west at a 45 degree elevation, at about 2000 feet altitude, moving at a steady pace.

Witnesses saw a triangular shaped object with six lights on each corner flying low over Derwen Fawr, Sketty. It then went down over the Clyne Valley. They then ‘heard a funny noise’.

Two householders reported seeing an aerial display lasting more than two hours from their suburban street in Prestatyn. They described a red sphere-like object which was joined by a "small shimmering thing" at which point both objects glowed brighter. They also reported seeing a red and green coloured rotating UFO which was joined some distance away by an oblong craft.

Two taxi drivers saw a UFO, mentioned in UFO Potpourri #301 as having happened in late January.
"One of the drivers, a Mr. Leonard Parker, said he was driving back to the office when he spotted a brightly lit object about 200 feet above him. He stopped and got out of the taxi and watched as it glided towards him. He said it was cone shaped, had one blue spotlight and lots of yellow lights on the underside. When he returned to the office he found Paul Jones, another driver, already describing his similar encounter."

Multiple witnesses saw a UFO in the clear night sky. Descriptions varies from a black triangle to a multicoloured cigar shaped craft, along with various combinations of lights. The press ascribed the sightings to a RAF refuelling exercise.

Approximately 6 PM. Clear sky. William Miners had finished work and had arrived home in Dunns Lane, Mumbles. As he got out of his car outside his house he saw people pointing up at the sky. He looked to see what they were pointing at and saw an enormous black triangular craft, quite far away, with three red lights front and back, moving slowly from east to west over Swansea Bay. There was no sound or flashing lights. He could clearly see it was black against the lighter dusk sky (sunset is at 6.23 PM). There was no sound and they were travelling at the speed of a balloon. I had a good look and saw a faint crooked shape."

7.15 PM. Tony Wilmer of Landore Port Office saw two objects in the sky. "I saw them coming in from Baglan. There were two lights and then they appeared to be double lights. They were moving very slowly and there was no sound. There was no way it was a plane."

Five minutes after having a sighting described above, the witness saw a very large cigar-shaped object, displaying all colours of lights, with no sound or smell, moving steadily from the north to the south west at a low altitude. The object was viewed through binoculars, and the witness’s neighbours also saw it.

17 MARCH 1986 - RUDRY COMMON, CAERPHILLY. Evening - no time given. Mrs Marina Davies of Rudry Common, near Caerphilly was in her car with her 10-year-old daughter, Julia, a friend and another child. They were travelling up a lane near her cottage when they stopped to watch two unusual lights for 15 minutes. Marina: "We saw two bright head-lights and started reversing back. I thought it was another car - but then the lights shot up in the air. Then suddenly the lights shot off in different directions before flying away. I'd never seen anything like it before even though we often have aircraft over here. I'm convinced it was a UFO although I would like to think it was on our side."

After about 30 minutes it began to drift slowly towards Ruthin, and seemed to turn on edge so the light now came from the base. It was about “400 to 500 yards” altitude about a mile away from the observer and moving northwards. The witness said there was a church nearby. It then became static and faded away. The Abergele and Pensarn Visitor of October 9th 1986 reported:
UFO sighting reported above town. Sightings of a mysterious glowing object has left people in Rhyl wondering if they have seen a UFO. Mr. James Perry, of 32 Princes Road, Rhyl, saw a large rectangular object, with flashing lights, which moved slowly across the sky on Thursday evening and other people in the area have reported similar sightings. "It was travelling very slowly in a straight line," he said. "There were lights that looked like windows, but it wasn't like a plane. There was no sound or hazard lights like you would see on a plane."
Mr. Perry watched the plane from another window and the lights change and started flashing. "They looked like disco lights," he added. "I have always been rather sceptical about UFO's, but I have no idea what this could be," he said. Since the incident, Mr. Perry has heard of several people who had also seen something similar.
Mrs. Margaret Fry, of Contact International, who are one of the largest UFO organisations in the world, said she would be interested in hearing from anyone else who saw something unusual. "The last siting I had of some- thing was in August by a lady in Mold but we are interested in hearing from anyone who has seen something." Mrs. Fry added that the organisation annually send their results to the Ministry of Defence. She can be contacted on Llangernyw 537.

The Abergele and Pensarn Visitor of October 16th 1986 reported on a poltergeist case:
Ghostbuster helps out at haunted flat. GHOSTBUSTER David Drew has had a busy week staying up until the early hours to communicate with an apparition and give interviews to the Press. The spiritualist medium, who lives in Llanddulas, has been helping the occupants of a hounted house in Prestatyn to deal with a poltergeist, which turned up there on Friday morning. Mr. Drew, 32, of Arwelfa, Station Rpad, Llanddulas, thinks the grey misty figure is a protective spirit, which wants to look after the family in the house.
"I was there on Monday night and although the spirit would not give me her name she said she worked at the house, but did not live there." he said. "She has attached herself to the house to protect the family and doesn't want them to move away. I think she lived between the wars, but I couldn't tell whether she was Welsh or English. I am trying to persuade her to move on, and release the family and her from each other."
Mr. Drew, who says be was born with psychic powers, moved to Llanddulas from Birmingham five years ago. The job in Prestatyn is the first he has dealt with in North Wales, but he dealt with several cases in his home city.

This occurred right in the centre of Rhyl, a busy lively seaside town, very popular with Midland and Merseyside people for summer holidays. Mrs Maria Parkin a Dutch lady contacted Emlyn Roberts, a local newspaper reporter who is a contact of mine.He immediately put her in touch with me so that I was able to go over at the time. At 7.30 a.m. on the 22nd October Mrs Parkin got up, as she has formed the habit of feeding birds in her small back concreted yard. Literally hundreds of sparrows and tits wait in the two large oak trees just over the wall and in her rear neighbour's garden.When she went out that morning, everything was deadly quiet and there were no birds. Curious she walked down the path, when very slowly what she could only describe as a slim gold bar about 3 to 4 ft long, with blunted ends, came from behind the oak tree and slower still passed in front of the second oak tree, and still very slowly it moved off towards busy Wellington Road, which is full of shops and then on towards the direction of the sea.
On the 23rd in the morning exactly the same thing happened. She was by now feeling very afraid. Her son rang her from Prestatyn during the day to tell her his neighbours had seen the same object in their garden ."Feeling thoroughly relieved that at least other people beside herself had been subjected to this". Mrs Parkin asked me in a very disturbed way, "What were Official people doing about this, what were Governments doing, and what were they, surely some sort of spying device?"

NDE (near death experience) of Joanne L from the NDERF database, submitted 18/04/2015. Her dad his own NDE in c. 1976: "My dad's heart stopped after an operation 10 years prior to my experience. I remember him saying when his heart stopped, he found himself walking along a path full of beautiful flowers, he came to a gate, and his father told him to go back because his family needed him."
Description of NDE:
I remember my eyes bouncing and I felt decidedly faint. I saw the nurse's face when she placed the monitor on me and couldn't get the babies heartbeat. I knew something wasn't right. I sort of remember the feeling like something warm enveloped my being as I lost consciousness. I felt so calm and peaceful; more peaceful than any words could describe. I had a feeling of just letting go. Then, I was slowly rising out of my body up towards the ceiling. Everything around me had turned orange. The voices of the staff in the hospital were muffled, but I could see a great panic going on around my body. I noticed that I was the same height as the clock on the wall but still rising…being drawn upwards. I tried to cling to the clock but I couldn't stop myself going up because it was like being pulled from within. Everything was a deep, deep orange color. I was up against the ceiling with my hands pushing against the ceiling. I thought I was going to be drawn further to the white light in the tunnel above me. I remember thinking, 'Oh my God! I can't leave my unborn baby with my partner. My baby needs me!' My partner was violent towards me on many occasions. I felt like at that very moment, I had a choice. I could stay or I could let go and be drawn up to the light. I felt my father, (who passed a few years previous to this incident), was waiting up in the tunnel. He was watching and I could feel his love. It was like a personal love, not like the love coming from the white light itself. I made a huge effort not to be drawn up to the light above me because I knew my baby would need me. I could also see the future with me bringing my child up as a single parent. I had such strength within me emotionally that it felt like I had been given a zap of internal power.
Suddenly, I lunged forward towards my baby and bounced back into my body with great force. It was like being dropped from a great height. Once back in my body, the first things that hit me was the pain from contractions and the medical staff sticking needles and tubes into me. Then I could hear everyone talking and chaotic shouting. There was a real frenzy of activity around me. I was coming in and out of consciousness, but I could hear everything, including my husband. He was talking quietly in my ear trying to reassure me but I already knew I wouldn't stay with him long, so my feelings towards him from that moment on became detached. I knew the reason I had come back was because I couldn't trust him to care for my baby. I was rushed into the theatre for an emergency cesarean: where upon, my daughter was dragged out of me and saved by surgeons. She was my first baby at a bouncing eight and a half pounds. I woke on the ward, later opening my eyes. I could see this gorgeous round-faced bright, rosy-cheeked baby in a clear plastic crib at my side. She had her elbows tucked up in front of her with her chin in her hands. She looked like a 6 month old baby holding her head upright. My first thought was, 'Wow she's been here before!' She was just staring at me with her huge, open-wide eyes.
At the time of your experience, was there an associated life-threatening event? Yes Childbirth. Life threatening event, but not clinical death I was full-term pregnant and due to be induced that day. My water broke at home 7 am and we drove to the hospital in the snow. I was having strong contractions in the car. We made it to hospital where I was placed on a couch. I didn't feel right and was frightened. The nurse told me I could walk around but I felt faint, so declined. I asked if it was normal for my eyes to feel like they were bouncing in my head. The nurse just looked puzzled and placed a monitor on my swollen tummy. Within minutes, all hell broke loose! The nurse was shouting and lots of staff came running. My baby's heart beat had stopped. Then whoosh! I was out of body looking down and my heart was weakening. They were desperately trying to catheterize me. There was lots of blood on the couch. Someone was shouting to my partner to talk to me in my ear as it's possible I would still hear him. There were about five or six staff in the room.
I was thinking of going into teaching children prior to my experience. However, afterwards I decided to make myself available to people and became a tarot card reader because I could now tap into the other dimension. I also trained as a personal counselor so I could help people the best way I could. I then trained as a Reiki master healer which uses the same energy that I experienced previously in the NDE. Finally, I trained as a clinical hypnotherapist. I have noticed also that I tend to be at a great deal of peoples' passing’s into the next dimension, heaven, or whatever it's called. I have had profound experiences through out of body experiences whilst I sleep at night. One, which showed me I was here to ease people passing over. Plus I was to help to heal. I have also seen outlines of what appeared to be liquid mercury of beings in my home. For quite a few years I could see dead people on this earth and at one point, I wasn't sure who was dead or alive. This was the point that I decided to try to distance myself from all of these experiences to get back to some earthly normality. I felt I was being drawn back to the other side myself and I had two children by this time to raise. So yes, the experience changed my life.
